How to make a girl-with-ponytails earring ♥

Hello and have a nice day! Today, I'm going to show you how to make a girl-with-ponytails earring, only by using simple materials! For those of you who haven't understood, the earring I'm talking about is this:

Yes, this is handmade, I made it!!! Isn't it adorable or what? :D

So, let's start with the procedure!

WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO NEED IS...
♥ A sponge with a colour of your preference
♥ A scissors
♥ A special thing that cambers and gets into your ear hole or whatever it's called and I don't know it coz my English isn't so good (!)
♥ A small pliers
♥ A link (?)
♥ A little plastic flower (prefer the 'silver' ones with pink sponge)
♥ A bead that matches the colour of the sponge
♥ Glue glitters
♥ Simple glue
♥ A pen
♥ Plenty of patience and creativity!

START MAKING IT...
♥ Take the sponge. You are probably holding a sponge pink from the one side, green from the other. Take the scissors and cut off the green part of the sponge.
♥ Take the pen and draw the shape of the earring on the sponge, as you see it in the picture.
♥ Cut the area around the outline you've made. Now, you have a spongegirl with ponytails, right?
♥ With the pliers, open the link. Use the link to open a small hole on the upper part of the spongegirl's 'forehead. Pass the link through the hole. Can you see a small link at the bottom of that camber thing we were talking about? Pass the big link through the camber thing's link and then close it. (Am I understood or just using random words?! :P)
♥ Take the silver glitter and make a 'belt' on the spongegirl's dress. Then, make the eyes and the smile. Take the pink glitter and make the necklace and the hairstraps.
♥ Make sure that the glitter has dried up completely. Take the glue and stick the flower on the bottom of the dress, as you see it in the picture.
♥ Stick the bead on the flower.
♥ IT'S READY! YOUR OWN GIRL-WITH-PONYTAILS EARRING!!!♥

So, this is the whole thing. It ain't too difficult. Hope I was clear with my instructions, coz my English is not extremely good!

If you manage to make this earring, take a picture of it and send it to annasblogpage@hotmail.com and I'll be happy to add it in a post! :)

So, have a nice day and good luck with the craft!!!
See you! :* :D

How to add makeup to your Photos!

Hey there! I know most of you use Facebook, Twitter or other types of social networking. I'm going to show you a way to edit your photos and make them look better, in order to receive more 'likes' and 'comments' or show them to your friends or whatever! So, let's start!

The site I use for editting my photos is www.picnik.com. So, whatever I say refers to this site.

1. CHOOSING YOUR PICTURE
When we choose a picture, we pay attention on the light, the colours, the backround and the position of our face/body. Of course, choose the one you like, but get some piece of advice first.

Attention: Do not take photos in the dark or with light from your cellphone. Try to make them look more natural.
Tip: Prefer the ones where your face is looking straight at the camera. This will make the editting part easier.

I chose this random picture. Thank you woman of the picture for helping me! ;P

2. BASIC EDITS
Basic edits are consisted of a.crop, when you want to cut some parts of the picture b.rotate, when you want to turn your picture to the right or to the left or whatever c.exposure, to customize the contrast, the highlights, the shadows etc d.colours, where you can fix the colours of your picture e.sharpen to make the shapes and the details more intense and finally f.resize, in order to change the dimensions of your picture. I didn't use any of these on the model picture to put emphasis on the makeup part.

3. ADDING MAKEUP
The effect I use for adding makeup is 'Doodle'. It's free and it has good results. You will find it in the Edit part, more specificly in Effects. Scroll the page down and you'll get to it.

                                                                 a. Add Eye Pencil
Press on Doodle. Choose the black colour. Alter the brush size to 4 (or this is the size I use). Zoom in the picture from the panel at the right bottom of the page. Paint the part over the eye with a thin line (except if you want it thick). Then, paint the bottom of the eye. It might seem too strong right now but don't worry. Zoom out the picture. Then, use fade to make the line look as light as you want to (I usually fade it around 75%-97%). Press apply and we're done with this!

Attention: If you already have makeup, don't make the line too strong.
Tip: Extend the line near the end of the eye to make it look bigger.

I used Brush Size 3, Black Colour, 79% Fade.

b. Add Eye Shadow
Press Doodle again. Zoom in the picture. Choose the colour of your preference. Use Brush size 3-5 Paint the area above the eye up to the eyebrow. Zoom out the picture. Fade the colour as much as you want to. If you're ok with the result press apply.

Attention: Be careful, the eye shadow colour has to much with the rest of the style.
Tip: Choose light and pastel colours to make the eye shadow look natural.

I used Green Colour, Brush Size 3 and Fade 75%.

c. Add LipGloss
Press Doodle one more time. Choose the Lip colour you want. Use Brush size 3-7. Zoom in your picture and paint your lips carefully. Then, zoom out and Fade as much as you want. When you're happy, press Apply.

Attention: The Lip colour should match with the whole makeup!
Tip: If you want strong lip colour, choose a strong colour and fade it till it looks natural.

I used Pink Colour, Brush Size 3 and Fade 58%.

d. Add blush
Ok, you know, press Doodle. Choose the colour you want (I recommend pink or red). Use Brush Size 7-13. Zoom in the picture and paint the area of the cheek you want. Zoom out. Fade as much as you want. When you're happy, press Apply.

Attention: Don't use too strong colours, it won't look natural.
Tip: Choose a colour that fits harmonically with your skin colour.

I used Pink Colour, Brush size 8 and Fade 96%.

4. ADDING HAIR HIGHLIGHTS
Press on Doodle. Choose a colour that matches with your hair. Use Brush Size 3-6. Paint the areas you want to add highlights. When you're ok, press Apply.

Attention: Don't use very light colours such as pink or blue, they look very fake. Follow the shape of your hair (e.g. if your hair is curly, don't draw straight lines).
Tip: Mostly use earth tones.

I used Orange colour, 6 and 10 Brush Size and Fade 78%.
